Toowoomba Farmers Market

Toowoomba in bloom: Farmers Market charm meets Carnival magic this September

Spring is set to burst into full colour in Toowoomba this September!

There’s no better way to experience the city’s vibrant spirit than by visiting the beloved Toowoomba Farmers Market and immersing yourself in the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers—a month long celebration of blooms, food, music, and community.

The market features a vibrant blend of fresh produce, artisan crafts, gourmet delights, and floral festivities. Whether you’re a local or a visitor you’ll enjoy a feast for the senses.

Extra markets have been curated on three September weekends to showcase local flavours and creativity at the Queenland Museum Cobb+Co precinct in East Toowoomba. Nestled between the museum and Queens Park, the market is a haven for foodies and craft lovers alike. It’s a great place to pick up some delicious picnic supplies and head across the road to the Botanic Gardens to be captivated by the wonderful floral displays the mountain city is so famous for.

Shoppers can browse a wide selection of seasonal produce, local meats, handmade breads and pastries, jams, honey, herbs, and even wines and spirits—all sourced directly from regional producers. There are several covered seating areas close to the food vendors so you can truly enjoy a meal or snack.

But it’s not just about food. The market also boasts an ever-changing lineup of high-quality artisan stalls, offering everything from handmade soaps and leather goods to jewellery, woodwork, and steel art.

With live entertainment, friendly stallholders, and free parking, it’s the perfect outing for families, food lovers, and curious wanderers alike. There are also free kids’ activities and games on the oval to keep the young ones happy!

With free entry, ample parking and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Toowoomba Farmers Market is a must-visit destination. Bring your appetite, your camera, and your sense of wonder—Toowoomba is blooming with possibilities.
