Tiny Doors Brisbane

Brisbane has a secret or should we say, about thirty of them? Scattered through the city’s laneways and nooks are the Tiny Doors, tiny little portals that sprinkle a bit of magic into your everyday wander.

These blink and you will miss them doors first appeared back in 2016 thanks to local artist Mace Robertson. His mission was simple. Make people stop, smile and remember that not everything has to be big to make you feel something.

From Fish Lane to Burnett Lane, each door is a miniature masterpiece designed to match its surroundings. Think old world arches, pops of colour, fairy lights and even a mini Van Gogh tribute for anyone who loves a tiny Starry Night hidden in a secret spot.

The best part is stumbling across one when you least expect it. Next time you are out grabbing a coffee or wandering home after a night out, keep your eyes open and your camera ready. In Brisbane, the smallest doors can bring the biggest sense of wonder.

Go on, see how many you can find and uncover the little stories waiting behind each one.
