Siam Samrarn

Tucked into the buzzing heart of West End, Siam Samrarn has been plating up Thai food since 2008. Inside, the space nods to tradition with carved timber, hanging lanterns and a water feature bubbling in the background. If you’re dining in, the service is calm and warm, the pace unhurried. It’s a spot that welcomes both your mate in thongs and your nan in pearls.

The menu is huge with over 100 dishes spanning stir-fries, curries, grilled meats and seafood. The duck curry is a standout – it’s rich, spiced and layered with lychees and Thai basil. You’ll find pad Thai that taste just like in Thailand, spicy larb that packs a punch and coconut rice soft enough to mop up whatever sauce you’ve got left on your plate.

Vegetarian and gluten free diners are well catered for and there’s a separate vegan menu too. Drinks include Thai iced tea, Chang beer and a short list of wines. For dessert, the coconut ice cream is simple but spot on – it’ll take you straight back to a beachside stall in Thailand.

Siam Samrarn expanded to Graceville in 2023, with a lighter, more casual space still serving the same favourites. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeaway on your way home, it’s clear the kitchen here is focused on depth of flavour and consistency.

Lunch or dinner, solo or in a group, Siam Samrarn delivers a quiet confidence that keeps people coming back.
