The 2026 Rugby League World Cup is heading to Australia, with Brisbane getting two big match days at Suncorp Stadium. The tournament brings together the men’s, women’s and wheelchair competitions, with 26 teams from 14 nations competing across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Brisbane’s first big game is Australia v Fiji on Sunday, October 25. Then, on November 15, Suncorp Stadium will host both the Women’s and Men’s World Cup Finals.
So if you’ve ever wanted an excuse to spend a Sunday watching international footy with 50,000 other people, this is probably it.
