Nudgee Golf Club

Brisbane’s Premier Golfing Destination

Located just 20 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD, Nudgee Golf Club has long been one of the city’s most beloved golf venues. Renowned as “the friendly club”, it welcomes golfers of all skill levels while continuously improving its facilities. With two beautifully maintained championship courses, top-tier practice facilities, and a strong sense of community, Nudgee Golf Club offers an experience that keeps players coming back.

Recent upgrades have elevated the club to new heights, particularly with the redevelopment of its courses, designed to challenge players with wide fairways, deep bunkers, and strategic shot-making opportunities. The Bulka Course, which means ‘sunrise’ in the Turrbal language, is a links-style layout that offers a scenic and dynamic playing experience, while the Kurrai Course (sunset) delivers a true championship test. Having hosted the Queensland PGA Championship from 2021 to 2025, the Kurrai Course has firmly established itself as one of Australia’s premier tournament venues.

What better way to celebrate the dawn of an exciting new era with an historical precedent for the Club, while providing a chance to watch Australian golf’s next superstars up close and showcase our own new star – the Kurrai course – at the same time.

Matt James, Nudgee Golf Club Member

Beyond its championship pedigree, the club is committed to developing the next generation of golfers. The club proudly hosts the Queensland Junior Amateur, welcoming 156 young players from across the country for a prestigious 72-hole stroke play event each June. It’s a chance to see future stars in action, while also reinforcing the club’s vital role in shaping Australian golf.

But the club’s appeal isn’t just about the competition, it’s about the atmosphere. Whether you’re here for a round with friends, a practice session or just to soak in the club’s welcoming energy, the staff and community make every visit memorable. As club member Mark Anthony puts it:“The staff across all areas are a credit to our club. The staff in the Pro Shop are always smiling!”

From the modern driving range to the short-game area and spacious putting green, Nudgee Golf Club provides everything a golfer needs to refine their game. And after your round, the clubhouse offers the perfect place to relax, with great food, a well-stocked bar and a lively atmosphere that embodies the club’s welcoming spirit.

So, grab your clubs and experience what makes Nudgee Golf Club truly special.
