If you’re in Hervey Bay on a Sunday morning, Nikenbah Markets is the place to be. Held twice a month on the first and third Sundays (and the occasional fifth), it’s a local favourite set behind the animal refuge on Maryborough Road.
You’ll find fresh produce, plants, handmade crafts, vintage pieces, baked goods and local honey. There’s a petting zoo for the kids and hot coffee for the early risers.
All proceeds support the Hervey Bay Animal Refuge, so every purchase helps the animals. Come early, bring some cash and give yourself time to wander.
