Nightfall Camp sits 90 minutes from Brisbane in Lamington National Park, where owners, Steve and Jaide, have quite literally hand built four safari tents among 257 acres of rainforest. Each 62 m² tent is dressed with bespoke furnishings, a king-size bed swaddled in organic linen, twin copper baths for epic forest soaks, and a cheeky in-tent rain-head shower that opens straight onto the leaf litter.

When the chill sets in, spin your 360° wood-fire stove to toast toes and toast marshmallows. The micro-kitchen’s stocked with locally roasted coffee, artisanal teas and snacks cunningly disguised as gourmet treats. At dawn, breakfast with free range eggs, smoky campfire toast and jam arrives on your deck. Spend your day tip toeing creek side, paddle boarding on Christmas Creek or simply pretending you’re in a David Attenborough episode.

As night falls, gather (if you must) at the communal fire pit and admire a sky so crowded with stars it’ll make your social media feed jealous.
