New Season Asian

If you think you’ve tried all the best Thai restaurants in town, you haven’t until you’ve tried New Season Asian.

Located in the heart of the CBD, New Season Asian showcases a vibrant, flavour driven menu of Thai dishes that capture the essence of the country’s rich culinary traditions. A creative sibling of the beloved Siam Pagoda, they’re already turning heads, taking out a finalist spot in the 2025 South East Queensland Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence in the Asian Restaurant category.

Step inside and you’re met with warm lighting and a relaxed atmosphere layered with Thai charm. Standouts include Slow-Roasted Duck, crispy on the outside and tender within, served with warm rice and Thai style sauce and Crispy Pork Chilli Basil crowned with a perfectly fried egg over fragrant rice. If you’re after something unique, a must try is the Yen Ta Fo — a noodle soup with a striking pink broth, layered with seafood, vegetables and a tangy savoury depth that keeps you going back for another spoonful.

Other favourites worth seeking out include Tom Yum Fried Rice, where the tangy, aromatic flavours of the classic soup are woven through wok fried rice and Tom Yum Noodle, a comforting bowl with just the right balance of spice and sour. The Tamarind Fish offers a perfect mix of crisp texture and sweet sour glaze, while Goong Ob Woonsen arrives sizzling with glass noodles, prawns and a garlicky punch.

With generous portions, fair prices and award-recognised quality, it’s no surprise New Season Asian has earned its place among Brisbane’s best Thai restaurants.
