Parents, consider this your official warning. The kids are about to have the best day of their year.
If you’ve been searching for a way to burn off some of that seemingly endless energy, Moreton Kids Festival is rolling back into town this June with a full day of rides, shows, workshops and family-friendly chaos. The best part? It won’t cost you a cent to get through the gates.
Taking over Pine Rivers Park in Strathpine on Sunday, June 14, the festival is designed for little adventurers under 10 and promises enough entertainment to keep even the busiest youngsters occupied from morning until afternoon. Think unlimited rides, wildlife encounters, creative activities, live performances, roaming entertainers and plenty of opportunities for kids to explore, discover and play.
And while the kids are busy making a beeline for the rides, parents can take advantage of the food trucks, market stalls and open green spaces scattered throughout the park. Because let’s be honest, surviving a full day of family fun requires snacks. Lots of snacks.
This year’s event is also set to feature five themed worlds packed with hands-on experiences, giving families plenty of reasons to stay longer than they originally planned. Not that the kids will give you much choice in the matter.
