Mayan Farm Villas

Rammed Earth Sustainable Luxury

Located on 100 acres of fertile grazing land in the Noosa Hinterland, Mayan Farm Villas offer views of the surrounding countryside for those seeking a unique country accommodation experience on a small working farm.

With Mayan Luxe Villas House and four newly-opened separate Villas, there are flexible accommodation options for couples, families, friends and groups (for 2-22 guests).

Mayan Luxe Villas House and Mayan Farm Villas are constructed using the sustainable building material, rammed earth, which was taken from a dam built on Mayan Farm. Increasingly seen in contemporary architecture, rammed earth is a sustainable building material due to its thermal mass, strength, durability and visual impressiveness – naturally cool in summer and warm in winter. They feature bespoke craftsmanship, recycled/milled timbers, quality fixtures and fittings and all the modern conveniences of a home away from home.

Mayan Luxe Villas House – comfortably sleeps 6 guests (can sleep 8)

Mayan Luxe Villas House is located at the top of Mayan Farm offering expansive countryside views and is perfect for small groups of family or friends.

It comprises a central living and dining pavilion with a chef’s kitchen and a Queen bedroom/study with access to a separate bathroom. The two separate self-contained East and Wast Wing King bedroom villa suites have decks and one has access to an outdoor bath and shower and a kitchenette/laundry. There is also a Queen fold-out sofa in the living area if required.

Outside there are three alfresco entertaining and dining areas in beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking the plunge pool (heated in winter) and surrounding farmland. A pizza oven and BBQ firepit add to the outside entertaining ambience, with farm firewood available! In-house catering offerings range from breakfast hampers and pizzas to more formal dining options and ready-made meals. Pets by prior arrangement (subject to pet approval).

Mayan Farm Villas x 4 – each comfortably sleeps 2 guests (can sleep 4)

Our 4 new Villas – Karinya, Mia Mia, K’gari and Cooinda – are located overlooking Kin Kin Creek at the bottom of Mayan Farm. Karinya is Aboriginal for peaceful home, Mia Mia is Aboriginal for hut or shelter, K’gari is Aboriginal for paradise and Cooinda is Aboriginal for happy place.

Each Villa comprises two pavilions joined together by an undercover breezeway. The main pavilion features a central entertaining space with a fully-equipped galley kitchen, dining and living area. A leather lounge sofa folds-out to a comfortable queen bed if required. This pavilion flows out to a spacious outdoor deck and landscaped firepit area capturing those farmland views.

The second pavilion features a master King bedroom which opens onto another deck. There is an ensuite bathroom with shower and laundry. The bathroom opens to a private outdoor bathing space, featuring a large hand-crafted stone bathtub where you can soak under the stars. Karinya and Cooinda offer an outdoor spa and enclosed pet-friendly area (subject to pet approval). Karinya is also disabled-friendly, offering more space in and around the bathroom.

There is a central undercover BBQ entertaining space for Villa guests featuring a woodfire pizza oven, grill and smoker. This is the perfect place for families/groups to get together with in-house catering also available.
