Tucked just off Oxford Street, Luckies Kitchen brings big flavour and even bigger personality to Bulimba. It’s loud in all the right ways with glowing lanterns, red accents, clinking chopsticks and that steady buzz of people who know they’ve found a good thing.
The food pulls from classic Cantonese roots with a modern kick. There’s 12-hour sticky lamb ribs slick with black bean caramel, crisp Sichuan calamari and sweet and sour pork that somehow makes pineapple cool again. Everything hits the table looking too good to touch, then disappears way too fast.
Drinks keep up the pace with pandan rum cocktails, Vietnamese espresso martinis and a few playful surprises if you’re in the mood to stay late.
