Lang Park Coffee Shop: A Cosy New Spot in Petrie Terrace

Petrie Terrace has welcomed a new café to its streetscape, with Lang Park Coffee Shop quietly opening its doors at 221 Hale Street. Operating from 6 am to 1 pm everyday, this café serves Merlo coffee alongside a daily selection of freshly baked pastries and light fare.

Its simple white and deep green exterior—with a few outdoor stools and a practical takeaway window—invites locals to grab their brew and head off into the day. Inside, the same white and green colour scheme continues. Warm timber floors, minimalist furnishings, and a few well-placed plants complete the relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, offering a spot to pause for a moment.

The menu offers classic choices such as almond croissants, cinnamon scrolls, and fresh sandwiches. Parents with young children can also enjoy discounted coffee on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 pm.

If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by for a quick coffee and a warm welcome.
