Kids Art Fun

Inside a Place Where Children’s Creativity Grows with Purpose

There’s a vibrant, nurturing space in Brisbane where children don’t just make art — they grow into confident, curious creators. At Kids Art Fun, creativity is treated with the same care and respect as academic learning. This is not a hobby class — it’s the beginning of something much bigger.

Founded by Sophia Dias, a visual artist and educator with decades of experience teaching across Brisbane and beyond, Kids Art Fun has helped thousands of children build foundational skills in drawing, painting, and construction. Each session is designed with care — combining structured learning with joyful exploration — so every child leaves feeling accomplished and inspired.

“My daughter used to be so shy — now she proudly shows off her artwork to Everyone!” — Emma, parent

This winter, Kids Art Fun opens its doors to new and returning students for Holiday Art Classes and Term 3 programs, held in a welcoming studio where every detail supports children’s creative growth. Children are introduced to the principles of art and elements of design through hands-on projects that spark both imagination and skill.

While casual drop-in sessions are only offered during the holidays, term programs provide a consistent environment where students make real progress week by week.

“We came to your studio with a concern that Emilia is a bit behind with her painting and drawing skills. At the same time, we saw her taste and passion to art and beauty, and probably perfectionism that stood on the way. In your calming and supporting environment, she was able to progress a lot, and we are now proud of the beautiful work she was doing in your studio and elsewhere. Thank you so much” — Mikhail, father of Emilia

As Kids Art Fun continues to grow, Sophia is also preparing to release her first book — a foundational guide to creative education for young learners. She is also developing a digital planning tool to help parents and educators — even those without formal art training — confidently guide meaningful, art-based learning experiences in the classroom or at home.

Spots are limited each term, and often booked out early. Families seeking something more than entertainment — a creative education that truly values artistic growth — are encouraged to book early.

“My 8 year old daughter has been attending a weekly art class with Sophia for over 18 months. Sophia is a patient and kind teacher. Sophia enables her students to be creative and expressive whilst explaining the appropriate use of various media. The children enjoy Sophia’s class and are proud of their works of art.” — Cara, mother of 8 year old daughter
