Greca

Howard Smith Wharves has become one of Brisbane’s favourite riverfront dining spots, where the city meets relaxed riverside charm. Among its standout venues, Greca brings the spirit of Greek hospitality to life with simple, shared plates and a welcoming atmosphere.

Greca’s space is open and airy, designed to catch the river breeze and natural light. The decor is understated, letting the view and atmosphere speak for themselves.

The menu sticks to Greek basics done well. Expect baked saganaki with honey and oregano, grilled octopus, slow-cooked lamb shoulder and crisp seasonal salads. Warm, freshly made pita rounds out the table.

Greca offers different areas for gatherings. The full venue fits up to 150 seated guests or 200 standing. The riverside section seats 75 with clear views of the city and Story Bridge. Smaller, intimate corners accommodate groups between 30 and 45, while the mezzanine upstairs provides privacy with air conditioning and flexible seating.

The drinks list features Greek and local wines alongside cocktails that focus on clean, balanced flavours. Service is attentive without feeling rushed.
