If you’re craving something fresh and local, head for the hills this May. The Mary Valley is serving up a month-long celebration of its growers, makers and food lovers with GourMay Mary Valley.
From 1 to 31 May, this region-wide festival highlights the people who grow, produce and prepare food across Mary Valley Country. The program includes farm lunches, garden tours, hands-on workshops and farmers’ markets packed with seasonal goods. Whether you’re into slow food, keen to meet local producers or ready to explore the valley, there’s plenty on offer.

Events are scattered across the region, from community halls to paddocks and kitchens. Each one offers a chance to connect with the land and the locals behind the food.
The festival wraps with a Gala Dinner, where regional chefs showcase the best of the valley on the plate. It’s a final celebration of the flavours and faces that make this part of the Sunshine Coast something special.
