Some ideas start over coffee, others under the Queensland sun. FarmHer Hands began with both. Two neighbours, Angie Nisbet and Shona Larkin, were chatting between cattle runs when they realised something strange, there were no sun safe gloves that actually looked good. So, like any clever country women would, they made their own.

These aren’t your average farm gloves. They’re UPF 50+, tough enough for fencing and mustering, but covered in bright prints and patterns that feel more weekend market than hardware store. Every stitch has purpose too. Shona’s melanoma diagnosis and Angie’s loss of a friend to skin cancer gave their mission real weight, protecting the hands that keep rural Australia running.

Made and designed in the outback, FarmHer Hands is all about hardworking style with heart. It’s a small brand with a big goal, to “glove up 8,000 women across Australia” and change the way we think about sun safety. Supporting them means backing women who actually live the life they’re designing for. It’s proof that good ideas don’t need boardrooms, just grit, friendship and a whole lot of sunshine.
