Founded in 2012, Chess Mates was created to break away from the ultra competitive chess scene and instead focus on helping children grow through play. The team teaches kids as young as three using age appropriate techniques like storytelling, games and puzzles. It’s all about building confidence, strategic thinking and empathy.. not just winning games.
Holiday programs are open to kids from Prep to Year 6 and include chess games, friendly competitions and interactive activities.
