Possibly one of the most scenic campgrounds, full stop, Bluff Creek Campground is an easy addition to your Mary Valley itinerary, especially if you’re turning the trip into an overnight stay.
Set across a wide stretch of rolling farmland, the sites are spaced out so you’re not on top of anyone else. Each one is grassed, comes with its own firepit, and either backs onto the creek or looks out over it. It’s quiet, open, and easy to settle into.
The creek runs through the property, but you’ve also got access to the Mary River just a short walk or drive away. Swimming, fishing, paddling, or doing absolutely nothing, it’s all right there. Between the water, the trees, and the occasional wildlife, it doesn’t take long to switch off.

There’s no power here, which keeps the whole place feeling pretty grounded. But you’ve still got the basics covered, flushing toilets, hot showers (bring coins), and firewood available if you don’t come prepared. Bike trails and open space add a bit extra if you feel like moving around.
If you’re not bringing a full setup, there’s also a small “tiny room” option, a simple space with a bed that works well if you’re camping with friends and just want a base to sleep.
Close enough to Kenilworth’s food spots but far enough to feel like you’re properly out of town, it’s an easy, no-fuss place to stay while you work your way through the valle
